Day 7 (Turned out to be very reflective!)
Taking Stock
Today I met myself upon the road,
Life’s school report in hand:
“Could have done much more
And so much better
If she’d worked.”
It could all end in utter, sheer frustration,
Regretting all that could have been,
Dismissing all that’s done as wood, hay, stubble.
God grant me time and strength to pray for this –
That He would give me wisdom,
And who knows?
It could yet be glorious, by His grace!
